Published On Borrowed and Blue, Melissa and Joe brought there fun filled wedding event to New Orleans, bring family and friends all the way from California to the New Orleans French Quarter. I say event because it truly was one. 3 venues and 2 second lines only begins to describe what was an all day party filled with non-stop fun and laughter.
Melissa and Joe got ready for there big day at the Royal Sonesta on Bourbon Street and walked down to the famed Exchange Alley less than 2 blocks away for their first look. Their ceremony took place in the outdoor courtyard at Brennan’s. The light hearted ceremony kept guests laughing. The first 2nd line from the famed Kinfolk Brass Band brought guests to a light cocktail hour at Galatoire’s. The party continued with another 2nd line! as guest walked, danced, and pedi-cabbed to the Napoleon House.
The surprise of the night came when Melissa announced in the entertainment for the remainder of the evening, Big Sam’s Funky Nation. The final shot of the night took us three flights of tight and winding stairs and into Napoleon’s lookout room designed to give the absolute perfect view of downtown New Orleans and the Mississippi River.
