Brendan, his groomsmen, and the father of the bride got dressed and had time to relax at the Hotel Indigo also conveniently located on St.Charles Avenue. The father of the Bride was able to take the quick trip to see his daughter in her wedding dress before everyone headed to the Tea Room. The bridesmaids created an impromptu reveal making for a really adorable moment between father and daughter.
New Orleans Car Service transported the wedding party from their respective locations over the the Ceremony and Reception location. When we arrived at the Audubon Tea Room, we started things off with a epic First Look not only allowing us to capture this once in a life time moment but also allowing us to take bridal party and bride and groom portraits with plenty of time in perfect light. The floral arrangements and bridal bouquets were all designed by one of New Orleans most experienced hiden gems, Meade Wenzel. The Film portraits and scene setting Film Images we captured during this part of the day were among my very favorite.
The Ceremony was officiated by Emily’s brother, making for some uniquely touching moments. After a beautiful outdoor ceremony, we all headed in the Tea Room for the First Dance's and energy filled wedding reception led with live music from The Boogie Men. The night concluded with a 2nd line and a streamer exit with Emily, Brendan, and their entire wedding party jumping into their limo bus to headed downtown for even more fun.
